Koin Remit Is Now Live on Android for Receivers in India

Starting today, Koin Remit is available to download on Android for customers in India.

Koin Remit exists for one reason: to make it simple for families to support each other across borders. If you have a parent, sibling, or child working abroad — today, in the US, Canada, the UK, or elsewhere in Europe — Koin Remit creates a non-custodial wallet for both of you: one on their side, one on yours. Value moves between the wallets over fast stablecoin rails, so support that used to take days can arrive in minutes.

You don’t need to understand any of that to use it. You don’t need to know anything about wallet addresses or the technology moving in the background. Koin Remit is built so that using it feels as simple as any other app on your phone — open it, connect with your family member abroad, and receive support when you need it.

Built for real families, not technical users

Most people who use Koin Remit have never held a digital wallet of any kind before a family member abroad introduced them to it. That’s by design. The technology behind Koin Remit is fast and efficient — that’s our job to manage, not yours to learn. What you experience is simple: a wallet with your name on it, a way to connect with family abroad, and support that arrives quickly when they send it.

Handled by licensed partners, always

Every regulated part of this process — verifying who you are, running compliance checks, and paying funds into your bank account — is carried out in India by ANQ Digital Finserv Pvt. Ltd., a company registered with India’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-IND), and abroad by locally regulated parties. Kivi3 does not hold your money and does not run your identity checks directly. That work sits with regulated, licensed partners, by design, so the product can be fast without cutting corners on the safeguards that protect you.

Why Android, why now

Koin Remit has reached Indian households so far through a different channel — HMD 4G feature phones (HMD 105 and 110 4G), already in people’s pockets across high-migration districts. That built real trust in the exact communities where Koin Remit is most useful. The Android app is the next step: for the growing number of households where a smartphone-owning family member — often a son or daughter — already receives support from relatives abroad and wants a simpler way to receive it.

Trying it out: the first 100

To mark the Android launch, we’re giving a welcome gift to the first 100 people in India whose first transfer arrives after they download the app, connect with a relative abroad, and enter a promotional referral code at sign-up.

The gift is a ₹500 Amazon/Flipkart e-gift voucher, delivered by email/SMS — not INR held in the app, not a wallet balance, just a voucher you redeem wherever you’d normally shop.

To claim it:

  • Download Koin Remit from the Play Store.
  • Create your account and enter the code INYTB7DYDE when prompted.
  • Add your relative abroad as a contact and send them a request to connect.
  • Receive your first transfer — that’s when your ₹500 gift unlocks.

The first 100 people whose qualifying first transfer arrives this way will receive the gift.

Each person may claim the offer once, and vouchers will be issued after eligibility verification. Failed, cancelled, reversed, refunded, duplicate or suspicious transactions do not qualify. Voucher delivery by email. Terms and conditions apply.

It’s a thank-you for being early.

Where this goes next

The Android app just launched today in India, connecting families with relatives currently sending from the US, Canada, the UK, and across Europe.

From mid-August, that expands to the Gulf region and more than 120 countries in total, so families with relatives anywhere from Dubai to Toronto will be covered.

Download Koin Remit on the Play Store today, and if someone in your family works abroad, this is a good week to connect.
